Return/Exchange Policy

At Dogfather, we do our best to make sure that you leave the store with the right product(s) for your furry family member. In the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, it can be returned for a store credit or exchange, as long as:

  • the item is in perfect resale condition.
  • you have the original receipt.
  • the item is in the original packaging.
  • the item is returned within 30 days of purchase.

Please note, we do NOT issue refunds.

All holiday themed items are exchangeable until December 24th, 2018.

Items with gift receipts purchased between November 1st to Dec 24th 2018, are exchangeable until January 8th, 2019.

Items such as beds, stuffed toys, and clothing are guaranteed against manufacturer defects, but not against chewing, scratching or excessive use.

Some of our items are guaranteed. Just bring in the damaged item or unwanted food with the receipt, and we will give you a store credit or replacement for the cost of the original item. Here is a list of products that are guaranteed:

  • Planet Dog Rubber toys
  • West Paw Rubber toys
  • Chewber toys
  • Stella and Chewy’s food and treats
  • Pure Vita food and treats
  • Natural Planet Organics food

For special orders, deposits are non-refundable. Please ensure that you are happy with the purchase, and that you have confirmed the appropriate size before placing the order.

Gift cards are not returnable or exchangeable. Customers are responsible for their gift card as if it were cash. Dogfather does not re-issue lost or stolen gift cards.

For orders that are delivered by post, we are happy to do an exchange, however the customer must return the product at his/her own expense before a new product will be shipped (also at his/her expense).
