At Dogfather, we do our best to make sure that you leave the store with the right products for your furry family member.

Due to COVID-19, to help ensure the health and well-being of our associates and pet parents, we are temporarily suspending all product exchanges. When the the Ontario mandate for curbside pick up is lifted, we will allow up to 30 days for any exchanges or in store credit.

In the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, be sure that the following conditions apply to the item:

  • the item is in perfect resale condition.
  • you have the original receipt.
  • the item is in the original packaging.

ALL items purchased BEFORE April 4th, 2020 will not be accepted for exchanges.

We do NOT issue refunds.

 

Holiday Themed Items

Any holiday themed items are only exchangeable up until before that holiday occurs. However, gift receipts will be accepted until the first week after that holiday.

 

Toys, Beds & Clothing

Items such as beds, toys, and clothing are guaranteed against manufacturer defects, but not against chewing, scratching or excessive use.

 

Some Items Are Guaranteed

Select items are guaranteed. Just bring in the damaged item or unwanted food with the receipt, and we will give you a store credit or replacement for the cost of the original item. Here is a list of products that are guaranteed:

  • Planet Dog Rubber toys
  • West Paw Rubber toys
  • Stella and Chewy’s food and treats
  • Pure Vita food and treats
  • Natural Planet Organics food

 

Special Order Deposits

Special order deposits are non-refundable. Please ensure that you are happy with the purchase, and that you have confirmed the appropriate size before placing the order.

 

Gift Cards

Gift cards are not returnable or exchangeable. Customers are responsible for their gift card as if it were cash. Dogfather does not re-issue lost or stolen gift cards. See our gift card policy for more info.

 

Orders That Have Been Shipped

For orders that are shipped, we are happy to do an exchange, however customers are responsible for covering the costs of return and exchange shipments. See our shipping policy for more info.
